Doug Carline has been finding out what impact the poor state of the roads in Berwick has had, and is continuing to have, on local businesses and residents.

Seen in this photo, Doug has been talking with the proprietor of West End Cabs, who told him that during the financial year 2015-16, the cost of repairs to damaged vehicles and the loss of business with cabs off the road, has cost (so far) well in excess of £1000.

Doug Carline has also heard that the poorly maintained 'speed bumps' installed for traffic calming in residential areas have also contributed to vehicle damage.
