The Leader of Northumberland Conservatives, Coun Peter Jackson, was one of the 100 delegates to yesterday's conference in Berwick.  He said, "This has been a fantastic event showing many success stories from Berwick and the great possibilities for setting up business there.
I have been saying for a long time that more needs to be done for that community and I am so encouraged by the positive atmosphere.
The only downside was the lack of representation at the conference by any of the County Council's ruling administration members.
I will continue to champion Berwick wherever I go."
