Councillor Richard Wearmouth has welcomed the recent growth of a prominent Northumberland business.
Moody's Logistics and Storage in Cramlington recently opened a new 12,000 sq. ft. unit at their facility at the Boland Business Park following a £500,000 investment.
As Northumberland County Council's cabinet member for the Economy, Cllr Wearmouth has highlighted the significance this growth in relation to the county's wider economic performance.
Speaking about the expansion Richard Wearmouth, Northumberland Council's Cabinet member for Economic Growth said:
“Moody's is a household name and I remember getting coal deliveries from them as a kid so it’s a great pleasure to join them in celebrating their recent warehouse expansion.
"I understand this particular project will triple the firm's capacity which is a clear vote of confidence from the firm in the county's economy.
"I’m looking forward to hearing about future success for the business in the years to come.”
